We woke up to the sound of the birds after spending a night in the woods. After stopping at a gas station two miles in, we were on our way. The hills were steep, and the shopping carts were doing all they could to hold on. We arrived at a small "social club" after 12 miles and decided we would go in to buy something to use their amenities. That's when I (Sam) realized that I couldn't find my wallet. I kept my composure while searching but knew that losing all ID on the road was not good. I called the gas station 10 miles back and by some miracle, they had it. James stayed at the social club while I took a Lyft back to the previous town, grabbed his wallet, and came back to the social club. No rules broken. The rest of the day went much more smoothly, and we have both been much more vigilant about our wallets since. 6/26/22
