The walk started with an absolutely miserable long and steep uphill stretch. The weather report the night before had said that it would rain, but at least it was no longer forecasted to rain. I (James) decided to jinx us by texting Sam and Tomer that I was relieved it was at least not raining. A few hours later, it started pouring. Tomer met up with us in the afternoon, and we were able to take a nice break in his car. It was 45 degrees and raining, and I was cold and absolutely soaked. After a 30 minute break, we reluctantly got back out of the car and kept walking in the rain. Tomer met up with us a few more times throughout the afternoon to get some footage of us walking, including a shot where he was up on a bridge that we passed under. It was an impressive showing from him as a one-man filming crew. By the evening, it finally stopped raining. There were a few more tough uphills, and I finally ended my walk on a nice hill off the road. Sam arrived about half an hour later. The rain made it a pretty tough day, but it was cool to have some footage of us walking through it.
