Today we finally left Columbus. While this seemed bleak at first after lounging around until around 2pm, we eventually got our strollers back together and were ready to head off. But we had to fit in some dunks on the lowered basketball rim in the Bull’s front yard. The roads were frustrating at first, featuring little to no shoulder. Eventually, we hit our stride and stopped at Arby’s for dinner. It was both James and my first time dining at the establishment. The cuisine was tasty, but nothing to write home about. We continued on after our stop to the town of West Jefferson. Our home for the night was Garrette Park, a nice spot where we pitched our tents between some trees near the playground.
