Today was extremely tough - it was filled with hills, bumpy roads, and small shoulders. We started off at 11am and only took one long break. We finished off the day with a grueling uphill climb to a Dollar General halfway up a mountain, where we were graciously allowed to set up camp in a grassy area out back. We walked 19 miles in total. We are contemplating ways to make our cart lighter. We have foolishly stocked up on canned foods without considering that each can weighs a pound. Hopefully tomorrow we can lighten the load on the cart and have a better day.
