Once I (Sam) packed up my things I realized that my right tire had significantly press pressure than my left one. This was a little weird because if there was a hole, it should have deflated all the way. I checked the tube after telling James should start without me and realized that there was no hole. Strange. I got back on my way until I realized after another 2 hours of walking that my tire pressure was low. I pulled over on the side, thinking surely that there must be a hole. I still couldn’t find one, so I just replaced my inner tube altogether. Soon after I arrived at the gas station that also had a subway where James and I were planning to rest at. I found him laying behind the gas station in some shade, so I got myself a sandwich and stocked up on food and water since our next place to restock was about 25 miles away. We rested behind the gas station for about an hour and a half and got back on the way. I picked up another flat tire, this time on the front wheel, which proved more challenging to replace. There are a lot of thorns in this region apparently. After replacing the tube, we walked for another 2 hours while also meeting a nice Hinton, OK local named Corey. We found a patch of grass on the side of the road to pitch our tents and call it a night.
