I (Sam) woke up at around 8am to prepare for a phone call I had at 10am. I took down camp and headed to a Starbucks in Elktown, OK to get myself some breakfast as well as a coffee. Coffee is much more appreciated nowadays that I don’t have access to it daily. I finished my phone call and lounged around at Starbucks for a little over an hour before leaving at around noon. This was probably my latest stay in weeks, and James left about an hour after me. I was carrying 10L of water and knew there would be no where to stop to get more on the way today. The towns are really getting stretched out. My greatest challenge today was walking 25 miles straight, as I did not want to arrive at our sleep site too late tonight. James and I both ended up succeeding in this goal, and we set up camp on the side of the road at around 10am.
