After a tough night of sleep (we were sleeping very close to the road and could hear the terrifying roar of trucks whizzing by in night), I (James) watched the Season 4 finale of Stranger Things in the tent. Around 9am, a man came by to notify us that the grass we were sleeping on would be mowed in half an hour. We packed up our things and headed out. We stopped at Keathley Korner in the town of Sweetwater 5 miles in. Sam had called ahead to make sure they would be open, so they were expecting us. The employees were excited about our journey and allowed us to sit at a table in the back by an outlet. Sam left around 1:30, while I stayed back and ordered a pizza. I ended up leaving a bit before 3. We both walked the next 20 miles with only short breaks along the way. I arrived in Wheeler around 9:30pm, about a half hour after Sam. After stocking up at the gas station, we headed to Wheeler United Methodist Church to pitch our tents for the night. It was a cool 58 degrees out and it felt nice to get inside the tent.
